Just a Day After Emmy Snub, Selena Gomez Tipped to Play a Legendary Music Artist in a Biopic

Selena Gomez has been driving the narrative of Only Murders in the Building with
her impeccable performance. With her perfect mix of a dramatic and sarcastic
tone, she won fans’ hearts. Sadly, things did not turn out well when it came to
Emmy. The 2023 award nomination excluded her from the nominees for Outstanding
Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. This marks the second time she has been snubbed
by this prestigious honor. However, these things certainly would not affect her
acting career, as the industry is recognizing her talent.

The exclusive report of Showbiz 411 recently revealed
[https://www.showbiz411.com/2023/07/12/exclusive-selena-gomez-circling-linda-ronstadt-bio-pic-in-perfect-casting-biggest-pop-star-of-the-70s]
that Gomez is in talks to play the legendary pop star, Linda Ronstadt. The
director James Keach helmed the 2019 thriller drama Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of
My Voice as a producer. This 2019 documentary depicted the real-life story of
the singer and received critical acclaim. Now the American filmmaker is ready to
make another flick about her career and personal life.

He thinks that the 30-year-old would be the right fit to embody this musician.
Indeed, Gomez would because she has the voice and experience to do it. The
‘Wolves’ singer can flaunt her surreal voice to recreate songs like ‘Don’t Know
Much’ and ‘Poor Poor Pitiful Me’. Moreover, if the budding actress gets this
role, who knows she might get an Oscar nomination instead of these Tv Awards.

memoir. So the mix of her compelling story and the acting skills of Gomez can

would continue to get more laughs and crazy mysteries in the comedy-drama that
will soon arrive on HULU.
