Jury Duty shook the reality TV world with its explosive success on Prime Video. The hilarious reality hoax sitcom created by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, which revolved around a fake jury trial in the first season, is not back in action with a highly-anticipated and promising sophomore run. The second installment, Company Retreat, introduces a fresh storyline to its original format, moving from fake courtroom drama to an absurd corporate chaos.

As the ambitious new season, which comes with even bigger swings taken this season, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat has perhaps set itself up for yet another season of smash hit, as curiosity about the new season hits new heights.

The title of this season already foreshadows the chaos that is to come in Jury Duty: Company Retreat. The upcoming episodes center on Anthony Norman, an unsuspecting temporary employee who believes he is attending a routine company offsite retreat.

The story develops through events at a fictional family-owned hot sauce company, which begins when its founder announces his retirement plans. The team-building getaway begins as a typical event but quickly turns into a battle between corporate ambitions and small-business principles, with Norman caught in the fight.

Of the promotional materials available on the season, Norman revealed he is from Nashville, Tennessee, during an application interview with human resources for a fictional company, Rockin’ Grandma’s Hot Sauce. Every one of his colleagues interacts with fake events and fabricated emergencies at the retreat, which functions as an efficiently executed social research study.

Apart from Norman, hired for temporary employment work for two years at the time of filming, every other employee he encounters is a staged actor to play the selected corporate parts on screen. He takes on the role previously held by Ronald Gladden in season one.
