Despite his pursuit of exploring new roles, the actor is now rumored to star in a new project that could see him reunite with his Wicked co-star.

Jonathan Bailey could be reuniting with his Wicked co-star Ariana Grande on stage in a revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Sunday in the Park With George in London, as reported by Deadline. The production is being eyed for a 2027 run at the Barbican Theatre.

This would reportedly be directed by Marianne Elliott. For the English actor, the project would be another collaboration with Elliott, who previously directed him in Company.

However, this update is not official yet. But those involved are said to be optimistic about the project.
