John Cena took to X after undergoing a second Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant procedure, thanking Dr. Ken Anderson and the team at the Anderson Center for Hair. The actor posted a photo of his freshly shaved head ahead of the treatment and revealed that he was aiming for the best possible results with the follow-up procedure.
"Round 2 of FUE Treatement and this time I went all in for best possible results. Thank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!" said John Cena in a post on X.
The procedure follows his first FUE treatment in late 2024, which John Cena previously described as "life-changing." He has openly credited the treatment with restoring his confidence after years of fan jokes about his thinning hair, while also sharing that he maintains his results with minoxidil, red-light therapy, and vitamins.
While John Cena continues to be transparent about his personal journey, he has also been reflecting on the impact he hopes to have on others beyond the spotlight.
John Cena reflects on bringing hope through Make-A-Wish
During a recent appearance on The Pete Davidson Show on Netflix, John Cena spoke about his long-standing work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, explaining that the responsibility extends far beyond simply granting wishes.
“I think Make-A-Wish is a beautiful thing. I also don't think it's for everybody, because it is very sensitive, right? It is very emotional,” he said. He emphasized that volunteers and celebrity participants must put aside their own struggles to fully support the children they meet.
“The one thing I don't ever want to do is for some kid to say, ‘The one thing I really want to do is kick it with John Cena’ and me go in there and not be the hope,” he added.
