Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein are reportedly taking their on-screen romance into real life, with the pair said to be casually dating. Lopez’s love life has remained a subject of public fascination for decades, from her high-profile relationships to her rekindled romance and eventual marriage to Ben Affleck.

Now, the singer and actress may be entering a new chapter with Goldstein, her co-star in the Netflix romantic comedy Office Romance. Their reported connection has sparked fresh interest in the chemistry they shared on screen and whether it has developed into something more away from the cameras.

As revealed by a Page Six source, Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein are “casually” dating. A source told the outlet that the two are seeing each other, though things have not become serious. 

“The one thing they have in common is they both enjoy going out to parties and restaurants. Unlike her ex Ben [Affleck] who always had a scowl on his face when they were out,” the source said.

The report followed the pair being spotted arriving at and leaving the same Los Angeles party on October 16. They reportedly shared a car but entered the event separately, as Page Six reported. Their connection began professionally on Office Romance, where they play romantic leads, and their chemistry has previously fuelled speculation. However, both actors had denied being romantically involved in earlier interviews, making the latest report a development rather than a confirmed relationship.

The news also arrives after Lopez’s marriage to Affleck ended. The couple married in 2022, but Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, and it was finalized in January 2025.

Despite their separation, Affleck has continued to speak positively about his former wife and her work.

In a recent interview with Variety, Ben Affleck addressed Jennifer Lopez’s lack of Oscar nominations for performances in Hustlers and Kiss of the Spider Woman, expressing “enormous respect and admiration” for her abilities. He also argued that awards do not always reflect an actor’s talent, describing the business as subjective. 

For now, Lopez and Goldstein’s reported romance remains casual, with neither star confirming the relationship publicly. Whether their Office Romance chemistry develops into something more serious remains to be seen.
