Finding Her Edge has become a hit among fans, praised for its comforting romance and nostalgic nods. which has also shone the spotlight on Madelyn Keys for playing the role of Adriana Russo. However, Keys has been gaining traction for another reason. She has a striking resemblance to Jennifer Lawrence, particularly in her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games.

Now, Keys has openly expressed her admiration for the comparison and her love for the Oscar-winning actress. Recently, she also shared her desire to work alongside Lawrence in the future.

Madelyn Keys recently appeared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she spoke about the popularity of Netflix’s Finding Her Edge and her role in the series. She was also asked about the buzz on social media regarding her resemblance to Jennifer Lawrence. To this, she did not hesitate to share that her classmates had always compared her to Lawrence.

She went on to add that she would love the opportunity to play a younger version of Lawrence or, perhaps, even better, to work alongside her.

"I don't think I could pick anyone else I would prefer the comparison to," she said.

"I would love the opportunity to play a younger version one day or, play sisters so we could actually get to work together."

  In response to her resemblance to The Hunger Games star and the constant chatter on social media, she had also shared a nostalgic photo of herself smiling while posing with Lawrence.   

During the interview, she recalled that although she could not remember exactly what they had talked about, she remembered crying on her way home from excitement. And she still admires the actress to this day.

But apart from all the buzz around her resemblance to Lawrence, Keys has been steadily building an impressive career of her own, which for her began quite early.

For those who are not aware, Madelyn Keys is also a writer and director, known for her work in The Exchange, Montréal Girls, and Three Pines. Her work on the script of Eavesdrop was also recognized at the 2021 Tagore International Film Festival. And now, she is ready to take a further step into her acting career.

  In the romantic series Finding Her Edge, she played the character of 17-year-old former ice skater Adriana Russo, who is trying to reenter the world of skating once again. The show is a huge success, ranking No. 3 TV title globally on the streaming platform.   

She has already proven herself as a multifaceted talent and is quite ready to take on bigger roles. As her career continues to rise, what she will achieve next, both in front of and behind the camera, remains to be seen.
