Jennifer Garner recently proved that some heroes never truly hang up the cape, especially when the fans are still screaming for more. Garner stole the show in Deadpool & Wolverine by stepping back into the boots of Elektra after more than two decades away from the character. Her appearance triggered an immediate wave of nostalgia, reminding audiences why she was a cornerstone of early two-thousand superhero media.

The actress demonstrated that she still possesses the physical prowess and screen presence to command the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Avengers: Doomsday.

The reaction to her cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine was nothing short of explosive, with theater audiences reportedly losing their minds the moment she appeared on screen. During an interview with Hits Radio UK, Jennifer Garner playfully acknowledged this intense energy by suggesting that fans might take drastic measures if Marvel does not utilize her character properly in the future, especially with Avengers: Doomsday.

"Do you hear that Marvel? We are going to cause a riot if you do not do the right thing,” she stated in the interview. The path to this iconic return actually began in secret while she was filming The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy. Garner recalled the duo whispering about a mysterious project around her, though she did not initially realize they were plotting her return to the Marvel fold with Deadpool & Wolverine.

Fans are now making it clear that a brief cameo is simply not enough to satisfy their desire for more Elektra action. The interviewer even warned the actress that people went "feral" in the cinema, highlighting a level of enthusiasm that Marvel Studios might not afford to ignore.

The eagerness has also spread to fans wanting to see Anthony Mackie’s Captain America and Channing Tatum’s Gambit join forces against the new multiverse threat. In addition to it all, inclusion in this elite group would solidify Jennifer Garner as a vital piece of the Marvel legacy.

The film is currently in production and is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, with lots of positive feedback even before release, giving the studio plenty of time to finalize surprises. Given the feral reaction to her superhero performance, the pressure to include Elektra in the fight against Doctor Doom is mounting daily.
