Friends said goodbye to its fandom, giving the most wholesome ending to the best
couple of the show. Though Monica and Chandler took the world by storm when they
married, fans always wanted to see Rachel and Ross end up together. Their
will-they-won’t-they dynamic has always been the most thrilling arc of the
series. The couple had an undeniable spark right from the beginning and viewers
loved their on-screen chemistry. But did you know the real reason behind this
great chemistry depicted between the characters? Well, Jennifer Aniston has
disclosed it in the recent months.

Jennifer Aniston made an appearance on the morning episode of Live with Kelly
and Mark in March 2023. During the conversation, the host pointed out that she
and her costar had a crush on each other in the early days of Friends. In her
response, the actress agreed, saying “Yes, we did. We just let it play out on
TV.”

Seacrest then asked her if this spark made things awkward between her and David
Schwimmer when they kissed on camera. But the Emmy winner certainly did not find
it weird and instead enjoyed it. This scene took place in the second season at
Central Perk after the characters had a fight. The Emmy winner also revealed
that the duo actually kissed each other on television first time.

It turns out that, unlike Rachel and Ross, these two were not meant to be
together at the end. And they have respected it this whole time. The 56-year-old
even pulled both of them out of dating rumors, sending out a report through
