Lanterns and Clayface are still expected to headline the remainder of the 2026 slate, while next year's Man of Tomorrow will expand the universe by bringing together Superman, Supergirl, Green Lantern, Blue Beetle, and the Justice Gang against Brainiac. The sequel represents the next major crossover step in Gunn's carefully connected blueprint.

Gunn also recently reassured fans that the long discussed Blue Beetle animated series is "still very much in development" after a fan asked about its status on Threads. Although the project faced uncertainty following HBO Max's shift away from children's programming, the update signals that Jaime Reyes still has an important place in the DCU.
