The acclaimed filmmaker who brought the blockbuster flick to focus, James Gunn, has finally shed some light on the reprisal of Harley Quinn’s character 8 years after its first screening. 
Along with this, he has also sported some insights into Margot Robbie’s fate in Harley Quinn’s future ventures and if he would like to work with her down the line. Now, let’s discover what James Gunn said in reply to his plans with Harley Quinn and its big-screen showrunner.

James Gunn is best known for blending in the prime characteristics of the actor in his on-screen depictions. Mastering this crossover, the director also served the world on the plate with the cutting-edge portrayal of Harley Quinn by Margot Robbie. Reflecting on the possibility of working with her for future projects, Gunn gave his green light as per a post shared by DC Film News on X, formerly Twitter. He said, “I’d love to work with her again as Harley or as someone else”.

Gunn began by stating how he had not been in touch with Robbie regarding Harley “for a long time.” However, he also assured that there have been “no plans at this time for anyone else to play Harley”. The director also added that this is the case except for “Todd’s movie or the animated show/s”. Margot Robbie has played Harley Quinn in three live-action movies till now. Should she feature another one, it would be harder to picture other faces for the role.

But it was not just that, she even had the most surprising response when asked about Lady Gaga’s portrayal in Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux. She expressed how she “always wanted” other actresses to take the saddle of Harley Quinn’s depiction. Robbie stressed that others’ interpretations could enthrall her own vision of the character.
