Jacob Elordi Salary for 'Frankenstein': How Much Money Did the Oscar-Nominee Make?

Remember Frankenstein, that green, odd creature with a stitched head and screws on his temples? That is the image most people instantly picture when the name comes up. Everyone, that is, except Guillermo del Toro. In his 2025 take on Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, the monster is reimagined as a haunting, almost Vitruvian figure.
Bringing that vision to life was Australian heart-throb Jacob Elordi, whose physical transformation had stirred quite the chatter. With praise pouring in for both performance and prosthetics, one question looms large.

Jacob Elordi's estimated salary for Frankenstein role
To cut straight to it, no official number exists publicly for Jacob Elordi's Frankenstein payday. Such deals stay locked behind tight contracts and nondisclosure agreements. That said, guesses float based on his earlier reported earnings. Various reports toss around figures. For Euphoria (which he will return to in Season 3), whispers put his take between $150,000 and one million dollars.

Saltburn allegedly netted him around $320,000. He also reportedly pulled in about one million dollars for his work in The Kissing Booth movies. Though unconfirmed, with Frankenstein streaming on Netflix, Elordi probably scored well. A report buzzing from The Richest pegs his earnings somewhere between $500,000 dollars and $1 Million.
Beyond the paycheck buzz, Elordi shared a fun childhood tale tied to del Toro that adds charm to their team-up.
Jacob Elordi's mom warned him about working with Guillermo del Toro
According to Jacob Elordi, his mother had issued a playful warning, saying, "You must never work with this man."
Elordi recalled that as a horror-obsessed ten-year-old, he would often "raid the horror aisle" at Blockbuster. That curiosity led him to discover Pan’s Labyrinth, del Toro’s acclaimed 2006 dark fantasy, famous for its haunting imagery and creature design. Elordi remembered spotting the eerie Pale Man on the DVD cover and being instantly transfixed. According to Elordi, his mother agreed to let him rent the film, but with that warning.

The actor shared the anecdote with a laugh at the London event, noting the irony of eventually collaborating with del Toro years later. Apparently, the film had been in the works for over three decades, dating back to when del Toro first read a copy of Mary Shelley’s iconic tome as an 11-year-old.
Jacob Elordi's speculated Frankenstein salary, hovering between five hundred thousand and one million dollars amid his rising roles, spotlights a star's smart climb.
