Since the announcement of Michael Jackson’s biopic, there have been relentless discussions over how director Antoine Fuqua will portray the pop icon’s legacy, personal controversies, and complex life. Several delays in filming of Michael and multiple script revisions have only added to the speculation. However, there also appears to be misleading information, as per Jackson’s nephew, Taj Jackson.
“Can’t help but notice that the negative press, trolls, and tabloids are desperately ramping up their BS stories and lies about my uncle to try and sabotage all the positive publicity the “Michael”Movie is getting around the world,” he wrote on X.
He further added, “Please don’t contribute to their failing agenda. Don’t help them or their algorithm by clicking or reposting their lies.”
Taj Jackson is the eldest son of Tito Jackson and has long been a vocal defender of the pop star. So, it was no surprise that he addressed the situation and called out what he believes to be lies. In the last few months, the upcoming biopic has already gained massive traction, drawing both praise and criticism.
Yet one thing is certain, which is whether critic or fan, everyone is curious and eager to see which chapters of Jackson’s legacy will be explored on the big screen.

This was one of the highest-grossing tours of its era. Another scene that might be included is Jackson’s gesture to visit the children’s hospital to give toys to cancer patients and terminally ill children.
