Sofia Coppola's kids are fond of her least favorite movie. The director has plenty of memorable films to her name, from the biographical drama Priscilla to the psychological thriller The Beguiled. She also took home an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Lost in Translation, earning one of the film industry’s highest honors.

However, among her many acclaimed movies, the director has revealed that there is one film in her career that she has never connected with as much as the others. While Coppola may not be particularly fond of the 2013 movie, she revealed a surprising detail about it. 

Sofia Coppola spoke much about her family, films, and career during her appearance on Happy Hour with Ina Garten. During the conversation, she was asked about her movie The Bling Ring, and the director was quick to admit that she was ashamed of the film. However, it turns out that the 2013 crime film is actually her kids’ favorite of her movies.

"I was always kind of ashamed of that movie because it's so kind of trashy. But then it's like my kids favorite and I was like really that one?" she said.

While speaking to Ina Garten th, Coppola explained that she struggled to connect with the movie because she did not particularly like its aesthetic. This was one of the reasons why she never felt as strongly about the film as she did about her other work. While the director may not be particularly fond of it, her kids and many viewers were impressed by the movie.

Based on a Vanity Fair article about a real-life group of teenagers, the film follows a group of young people who break into the homes of wealthy celebrities. Coppola wrote and directed the movie. While the film received a mixed critical response, it went on to earn around $20 million worldwide.

Now, nearly 13 years later, where can viewers stream The Bling Ring online?

The Bling Ring is not currently available to stream on Netflix. However, the movie can be rented on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. The film also brought together a talented cast, with several familiar faces taking on the roles.

Israel Broussard appeared as Marc Hall, while Katie Chang and Harry Potter actress Emma Watson played Rebecca Ahn and Nicki Moore, respectively. Taissa Farmiga, Claire Julien, Carlos Miranda, Gavin Rossdale, and Leslie Mann were also part of the cast. Although director Sofia Coppola was not entirely satisfied with the film, The Bling Ring appears to have found its audience and found a place within its genre.
