Chris Hemsworth's recent reflections on the everlasting Avengers effect highlight how spectacular the next film is poised to be. He shows his dedication to the franchise through repeated returns because he believes each Avengers movie has the power to elevate the emotional, visual, and thematic experiences more than previous films. For him, every Avengers movie he is in feels like his last because how can something possibly be better?

“The only thing I can say is that every time I go back to an ‘Avengers’ movie, I think it’s going to be the last. That it can no longer be topped, and somehow, they get an absolutely spectacular movie. This one happens to be the same," Hemsworth said in an interview with El Hormiguero.

The upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday marks one of Marvel's most ambitious movies from Phase 6 because it not only showcases major character reunions and significant plot developments but also introduces one of the greatest supervillains. And Thor becomes one of the key figures in the extensive shared story in his more mature and vulnerable state of mind as he juggles sacrifice, fatherhood, and a universe-altering war.

The film's official teaser presents Thor in emotional turmoil while praying for strength to combat a dangerous enemy, which reveals his personal battle and the upcoming conflict. Meanwhile, Hemsworth's reflections on the spectacular scale of Avengers: Doomsday showcase how the MCU still holds the fans' interest while creating higher standards for future films, as the plot moves towards Secret Wars next, soon after its 2026 release.
