gradually became a part of television’s biggest show ever, Euphoria. Sweeney
gained enormous popularity by playing the role of Cassie Howard on the show. She
has a special connection with the show and recently revealed something special
about it.

Euphoria is a show with strong female characters. The female brigade of the show
is its unique identity and power. Sweeney feels lucky to be a part of it as she,
on that show, works with people of her age group. Before Euphoria, she has been
a part of The Handmaid’s Tale where she was one of the youngest members. On the
other hand, in Everything Sucks, she was older than many. But in Euphoria she is
surrounded by women of her own age.



When Sweeney appeared on the Awards Chatter podcast, the host questioned her
about her experience on the show. In reply to that, Sweeney said, “It felt like
I was in high school!” One of the reasons behind it was the cast of almost
equivalent age groups. Another reason she felt like that was the storyline of
the show.

Euphoria revolved around the stories of a bunch of teenagers in high school. A
raw and intense drama series exploring the lives of troubled teenagers
navigating love, drugs, and identity crises.
