Sydney Sweeney has struggled a lot to capture the fame she owns today. While becoming a Hollywood star requires ample struggle, it was hard for the 25-year-old, as she did not have a godfather in the industry. Moreover, being born and brought up in the small town of Spokane by not-very-rich parents made things difficult for her. But the actress has overcome all of them and is a successful name in the industry today.

Though the Euphoria actress is surrounded by glamor, she accepts the fact that it is not what it looks like. While many people confuse actors’ real lives with those of their red carpet, Sweeney strongly disagrees with this.

The actress told Gotham that people have a misconception about imagining glamorous things about actors as they are mostly on the red carpets. She added to it, “There’s a lot of hard work to even get to those moments, and then they’re as fast as the flash of the camera. It didn’t happen overnight for me.”

The White Lotus actress revealed to Gotham that she began auditioning for roles when she was merely twelve years old. The life she is living today appears to be all sunshine and rainbows, and the actress has worked really hard for it. She once revealed that her parents did not have enough money to buy a plane ticket to LA. In fact, they could not even afford the motel rent of the city. Hence, they used to take twenty hour-long round trips just so their ambitious daughter can fulfill her dream of becoming an actress.

They even gave up their life in Spokane to shift to LA for her. The twice Emmy nominee really respects her family for being so supportive. Moreover, she has kept her word and encashed all the success she once dreamed of. She is starring in more than ten projects in the current and upcoming years. And even after becoming a household name, she is still the simple small-town girl from the inside.
