A serial killer, burglar, and more criminal accolades to his name, Israel Keyes took pride in his art of murder, stating strangulation as his favorite method to watch his victims suffer. He was taken into custody in March 2012 for the kidnapping and killing of an 18-year-old girl named Samantha Koenig. But soon the investigators started to realize that they had caught a predator whose hunting ground was much larger and much darker than just one crime. Over the years, admitted to more than one murder, robbery, and several other serious crimes that he committed across the country from 2001 to 2012.

Keyes' crimes were marked by a frightening mix of randomness and stealth. After spending nine months in prison, Keyes committed suicide, leaving many of his crimes and victims unknown.
