While the movie might only be 20 minutes long, it holds a heartwarming lesson that is unforgettable. Now, The Silent Child is also one of several films that bring attention to individuals’ struggles and the power of sign language.

Sound and Fury has an inspiring story like The Silent Child
The movie, Sound and Fury, was released back in 2000 and follows two families and their struggle over how they can help their deaf young kids. The two families are torn over whether their kids should have cochlear implants that can help them hear, but also push them away from their deaf identity. This bitter debate is what makes the movie emotional and powerful.
