A new documentary with a new perspective on the Kentucky Wildcats
CBS just released a documentary on the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM ET. The University of Kentucky men's basketball team's 2025–26 season, arguably one of the most dramatic seasons in the team's history, is the focus of this all-access special on CBS called Kentucky Basketball Confidential.
Throughout the season, camera teams were stationed beside the Wildcats to record behind-the-scenes footage from practices, locker rooms, and travel. The team's 14-loss season, which included multiple high-profile losses and a ninth-place finish in the Southeastern Conference, is covered in the documentary. In addition to all this, it also features video of the much-discussed pregame altercation that happened just before the Louisville game.
