Amid a string of horror and thriller movies, spooky dolls like Annabelle from The Conjuring and Chucky from Child’s Play have become some of the most popular horror icons.

Even though it is only a toy, she begins to treat it as part of the family. However, things take a turn when she gives birth to another daughter. This begins a string of bizarre events. Directed by Shinobu Yaguchi, the film stars Masami Nagasawa as Yoshie and Ken Yasuda as Yamamoto.

The horror film features plenty of jump scares and spine-chilling moments. Another movie titled Doll House is available on Netflix. It is a 2022 Filipino drama that follows a rock band lead singer who attempts to rekindle his relationship with his long-lost daughter. Although both films revolve around parents and their affection for their child, they are very different in tone and genre.

His job is to film a mysterious man at a remote mountain cabin. However, he soon realizes that his new client is not who he appears to be. Second in the lineup is the 2018 movie Malevolent, starring Florence Pugh.

It follows a brother-sister duo who scam people by faking ghost encounters. However, the two soon come face-to-face with a real supernatural threat. The third film in the lineup is the 2022 movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which follows five people who visit Texas, only to find themselves caught in unimaginable horror. All three spine-chilling movies are available to stream on Netflix.
