During a panel moderated by Samba Schutte, the conversation inevitably shifted toward the progress of the highly anticipated second season of Pluribus.

"It takes a long time to come up with these episodes," Gilligan stated during the panel discussion. The creator confirmed that while the team is working diligently, the development phase is moving at a measured and deliberate pace.

Gilligan noted that the return of the series is a matter of when, rather than if, though the specific year is undecided. "It ain’t gonna be The Pitt, coming back every year," he added.
