It was revealed last month that Deadpool & Wolverine is still adding some final touches to the film, with reshoots currently in progress. Today, the reason for these reshoots has come to light. According to Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman, the reshoots are not about changing the movie's storyline, but rather about adding more cameo appearances. It has been confirmed that, unlike Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Deadpool & Wolverine will not be altering its ending with last-minute tweaks.

There have been plenty of rumors suggesting that Deadpool & Wolverine could mark the end of an era for Fox's Marvel universe, making room for the MCU to introduce its own versions. This also presents the MCU with an opportunity to give the sidelined characters from Fox's history a chance to shine in roles that better reflect their comic book origins. And this is not just limited to other Fox and MCU characters; even the variants of the titular characters in Deadpool & Wolverine could see a return to their roots.

In a recent episode of Just The Nobodys Podcast, TikTok theorists Ryan and Daniel mused over the possible resurrection of the X-Men Origins: Wolverine’s Deadpool. This wild theory took roots from the similarities between the eyes of Headpool in Deadpool & Wolverine merchandise and Deadpool's peepers during his surgery in the 2009 film. However, fans have already seen that version of Deadpool being taken down by none other than Deadpool himself!

In the second installment of the Ryan Reynolds starrer, Deadpool hopped back in time to set things right before moving on to his next adventure. And during that, he took out the 2009 version of Deadpool, leaving even Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, puzzled. This once again raises doubts about this theory coming to fruition, but that is par for the course with every other theory associated with the movie. With all the reshoots happening, who knows what surprises the film has in store for fans?
