The 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards brought together some of Hollywood’s biggest and most respected names for a night dedicated to celebrating the best of cinema from the past year. Several notable titles, including Train Dreams, Adolescence, and The Secret Agent, made a splash throughout the ceremony. The event not only honored powerful storytelling but also shone a spotlight on talents, for fans around the world joining in through the live stream.

And for those who could not catch the fun live, the ceremony is still available to stream online.

The 41st 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards was live-streamed on Film Independent and IMDb‘s YouTube channels from 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET on February 15. Now, the event hosted by Ego Nwodim is still available to stream on YouTube Channels to watch or rewatch the best moments. 

The event arrived with much laughter and joy, with the celebrities strutting the blue carpet and sharing a moment to appreciate the event at Hollywood Palladium. Keke Palmer, Zoey Deutch, Dylan O’Brien, Tessa Thompson, Lamorne Morris, Jane Levy, Eva Victor, Xosha Roquemore, Lake Bell, Rebecca Hall, Issa Rae, and several other notable names were in attendance. It was followed by memorable speeches and several entertaining moments.

While Netflix led with the highest number of nominations, A24 followed closely. It was a big win for both, with several of their titles ultimately taking home major wins. And Train Dreams, directed by Clint Bentley, won the most awards.

Train Dreams led film categories in 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Train Dreams, starring Joel Edgerton and Felicity Jones, follows the simple life of Robert Grainier, filled with heartwarming and soul-stirring extraordinary moments. It bagged three awards at the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The film won Best Feature, while Clint Bentley earned the award for Best Director, and Adolpho Veloso was honored with Best Cinematography for his work on the film.

Sorry, Baby saw Eva Victor win for Best Screenplay, and Naomi Ackie for Best Supporting Performance. Meanwhile, Rose Byrne won best lead performance for her performance as Linda in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. While The Secret Agent took home the award for Best International Film, Adolescence made an impact on the television side by winning Best New Scripted Series. With several notable victories and many memorable moments, the ceremony wrapped up celebrating another strong year for storytelling.
