Chloe Bennet has collected quite the lineup of memorable roles, from Detective Lana Lee in Interior Chinatown to Robyn in Dave. Yet every actor has that one character who feels almost permanently stitched into their Hollywood identity. For Bennet, that character is Daisy Johnson, the Inhuman-powered S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who made Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. feel like her own superhero playground.

Bennet has now made it clear that she would happily return as Daisy, admitting that she is still rather obsessed with the character.

Chloe Bennet has kept her career busy since Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., voicing Yi in Abominable and the Invisible City, racing into Rally Road Racers, and nearly becoming Blossom in The Powerpuff Girls. Yet some characters refuse to stay in the rearview mirror. In an Elle interview, Bennet made it clear Daisy Johnson remains firmly lodged in her heart.

“I’m obsessed with Daisy. I feel like I am Daisy,” she said.

That attachment is hardly surprising after 136 episodes of watching Daisy evolve from the mysterious hacker Skye into a powerful S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Bennet said she would love to return to the role, especially now that she has had time away from the character. This time, she could bring everything she has learned since leaving Daisy behind.

In the Elle interview, Bennet also admitted that she remains protective of Daisy and is still frustrated that the character’s place in MCU canon is not fully acknowledged. After spending so much of her life playing a young woman growing into her power, Bennet clearly sees plenty more story left in Daisy. A comeback, it seems, would be personal.

Bennet is not the only one knocking on Marvel’s door, as even the Werewolf by Night star has urged the MCU to take responsibility while its movies reclaim the spotlight.

Marvel Studios is putting the brakes on its television expansion, trading the Disney+ content avalanche for a leaner slate built around fewer, more carefully developed series. While Daredevil: Born Again continues into future seasons, Wonder Man and VisionQuest represent a more selective television pipeline. Kevin Feige has acknowledged that the earlier rush toward quantity diluted the viewing experience, which explains MCU's recent decisions regarding its shows to an extent.

The shift means Marvel is aiming for roughly one live-action Disney+ series annually, alongside a slower movie schedule, while allowing shows to stand more independently. Even VisionQuest, Daredevil: Born Again, and Wonder Man reflect a television strategy with clearer creative identities rather than endless homework for moviegoers. For Chloe Bennet, that quieter approach could leave one particularly beloved S.H.I.E.L.D. door worth reopening: Daisy Johnson.
