Ross Lynch has confirmed his wedding while attending the premiere of Heartland. Lynch is best known for his role as Austin Moon on Austin & Ally and Harvey Kinkle in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Now, the actor is back to play yet another memorable role in the new film Heartland, alongside Jessica Chastain.

While Lynch has been careful not to reveal any exclusive details about the film, he candidly shared a heartwarming update about his personal life.

Ross Lynch attended the premiere of Netflix's film Heartland. During an interview with PEOPLE, he confirmed his marriage. The actor was spotted wearing a shiny gold wedding band on his ring finger. However, he did not share many details about his wife or their relationship.

“I’m not trying to shy away from that by any means, but I am trying to, you know, my wife’s not very fond of celebrity. So I am trying to be sensitive towards that and respectful to her. But everything’s going well,” he said after confirming his marriage.

Before the interview with PEOPLE, the actor, had hinted at changes in his personal life when he returned to Instagram on June 28, 2026. He shared a carousel of photos and captioned the post, “Been a minute, what did I miss?” When a follower, who had picked up on hints about his marriage, directed the question at him and asked what fans had missed, Lynch responded with a clever reply.

“Hahaha A LOT,” he said.

Along with the announcement, Lynch also spoke about his return to acting and his experience working alongside Jessica Chastain in Heartland.

During the same interview with PEOPLE, Ross Lynch explained that he was excited to return to acting after spending time focusing on his music career and working with his brother, Rocky Lynch, on their band, The Driver Era. His first project after the break teamed him up with Jessica Chastain in Heartland. He recalled the experience of working with the actress.

“Working with Jessica was funny because, you know, it’s been a while for me being acting,” he told PEOPLE. “After a while, when I started getting warmed up, she would give me this nod of approval, which was kind of fun and reassuring.”

Lynch will appear as Jace Jacobs in the thriller film Heartland. Meanwhile, Chastain plays the role of Misty Jones, a former country music star who sets out to find her missing niece. The movie will premiere on November 13, 2026.
