Much like the fans, Dexter Sol Ansell had been excited about the big revelation of his character identity in Episode 3 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. While speaking about it, he excitedly shared his experience of how he found out what the Targaryens meant in this franchise created by George R.R. Martin.

“Feels like I'm a dragon. I just wanna jump out my window and go 'wee!' and breathe fire. Yeah, it feels exciting to be a Targaryen. I mean, I don't know much about 'Game of Thrones' because I've never watched it, but I think Targaryen's the best house, in my opinion,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

As expected from the young actor, he admitted that he initially had no idea what a Targaryen was when he read the scripts. However, he got help from his parents, who explained the royal legacy behind the name. And just like a Targaryen, he embraced the role.

And despite his eagerness to do so, he will not be leaping around and breathing fire like a dragon, as he revealed in his interview with Entertainment Weekly. However, the young actor will soon be seen in a different attire and aura, and perhaps a bit more royal, in the next episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Now, playing a Targaryen will not be easy, but when it comes to Sol Ansell, there should be no doubts, as per his co-star Peter Claffey.

“He might be 9 by the government or by years, but he's got a very old head on him,” he said.
