Kim Kardashian wants another turn on Dancing With the Stars, 18 years after her first and only season. She joined season seven in 2008, partnered with Mark Ballas, and exited in 11th place. Her memories of that ballroom stint are not exactly sparkly, which makes the comeback talk even funnier. A late-night couch and one very old video clip both play a starring part in exactly how this happened.

Kim Kardashian confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday that she would happily return to ABC's Dancing With the Stars. The series has aired 35 seasons and produced only one All-Stars edition, which arrived in 2012 and crowned Melissa Rycroft. She was unsure whether the show invites returnees.

“I don’t know if they bring people back, but I’d do it,” she said.

Jimmy Kimmel answered, “They would definitely bring you back.”

Kardashian also confessed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she cried in her trailer every night, praying to be eliminated, and she has not danced since. A family poker night three weeks ago changed the mood when Kylie Jenner screened the old routine on a big screen. Kardashian remembered some moves and pitched her sisters an entire Kardashian-Jenner season. Rob Kardashian gave the pitch credibility, finishing second in season 13 behind J.R. Martinez, alongside Cheryl Burke.

Kim Kardashian Takes On New Netflix Film With Nikki Glaser for a Messy Las Vegas Best Friends Story: All We Know

While Kim Kardashian once begged to leave the dance floor, a sidewalk in Hollywood has been refusing to let her in.

On The Kardashians, she offered another confession. Kim Kardashian explained that she has never qualified because reality television is not considered worthy of a star. Her counterargument came with fur and felt, since Lassie has a star and so does Miss Piggy. Lassie received hers in 1960, and The Muppets earned theirs in 2012, so the competition is furrier than expected. Her credentials include 27 seasons of family television, SKIMS, and SKKN.

The Walk of Fame has not always welcomed her genre, since representatives dismissed reality stars in 2011. Today, the nomination guidelines ask for professional achievement, at least five years in an entertainment category, community contributions, and a commitment to attend the ceremony. Kardashian leads and produces The Fifth Wheel, a Netflix comedy directed by Eva Longoria, though no premiere date exists yet. A star may be years away, but a Dancing With the Stars return needs only one call from ABC.
