In a conversation with Josh Horowitz in his podcast in 2020, Henry Cavill was asked whether he had the wherewithal to be the actor and virtual icon that Brown was (at 16 years old). The Superman star quickly chimed in saying, “I would love to say yes but no I don’t think so.” He added how the Stranger Things star was “extraordinary and unique.”
Many would agree in being guilty of wondering whether the young superstars of Hollywood spend some time being their goofy teenage selves. Cavill felt the same, admitting to thinking that the actress did not get to live her childhood because she was already so much more mature than her age. However, he quickly realized the amazing “flip-flop” the 16-year-old maintained between enjoying her making TikTok dances and discussing performances with directors.
He further expressed his joy in working with a marvelous actress like Brown and that she was “born to do it.” He had also shared how he would love to continue working with her for Enola Holmes 2, and of course, we had them back in 2022.
While the actor sang the praises in this solo interview, the two have often come together and shared actor-goal anecdotes.

The on-screen sibling chemistry has often worked charm off-screen too. The two have often appeared in interviews and shared their part in sibling stunts. During an interview with ET Canada, Brown shared how she would poke fun and talk about reality dating shows with the introverted co-star. And we definitely know that is true as Cavill revealed her obsession with Love Island in the Josh Horowitz podcast too.
Cavill does not hold back either. Doing the most typical older sibling thing, he liked making Millie Bobby Brown look bad. And even in interviews where both appeared together, the comradery that the two share is adorable. They embrace their opposite natures and make the most fun out of their time together.
