Ever since Meghan Markle became the Duchess of Sussex, there has not been a single day when she would not make it to the headlines for some or other reason. From her grand marriage to Megxit and beyond, netizens perhaps know about every single step the Duchesses make. However, fans do not know much about her life before the royal marriage. Well, you might know her as an actress from the infamous television drama Suits, but do you know how the duchess became an actress?

While she has worked truly hard throughout her childhood and graduation to become a skillful actress, Markle also had her share of mischief. In a resurfaced video from an earlier promotional interview for her infamous series, she was seen confessing that she once tricked some directors into believing that Markle is a part of an actors’ union so that she can get a job.

The job she was trying to get was a small part in a pilot for Century City, a 2004 CBS show. She further narrated the story of how she told the directors that she was Taft-Harteleyed. However, when she reached the studio, she wasn’t. “To this day, those casting directors will never hire me. I was such a fraud,” Markle further spoke in the interview.

Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as the senior members of the royal family, they apparently swore to fund their own expenditures and become independent. And well, the former actress made the best use of her education as well as experience. They not only produced a documentary about themselves on Netflix but have also published books and ran a podcast on Spotify.

Apart from that, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may also have sought some voiceover work as they had attended The Lion King premiere back in 2022. Furthermore, ever since 2020, they have also been planning to re-marry and telecast it. So they might as well create a new miniseries about it on Netflix.
