At the Spider-Man: Brand New Day Los Angeles premiere, Entertainment Tonight got hold of Tom Holland, asking all sorts of questions about the latest film and the toll of keeping all the secrets of the movie all to himself. However, as the conversation went further, the San Diego Comic Con, which took place on July 25, came up.

The interviewer asked him if he wanted to be at the Comic Con with all of his other MCU colleagues, and his response was slightly more real than one would have expected. The actor appeared visibly annoyed at the fact that Marvel did not invite him to the San Diego Comic Con.

“I gotta be honest, I was a little offended … I didn’t even know it was happening. And then I saw online that all my pals were standing up on stage,” Holland said.

He immediately inferred that the reason Marvel did not call him up for the event was because of this slight logistical problem. The actor’s reaction quickly went from disappointed to understanding in a matter of seconds.
