In his response, the former Superman said &#8220;I think it’s a fun character,&#8221; and revisiting it depends on where the film takes the character.

He reiterated that he has a great bond with the director of the film Matthew Vaughn, so it would not be easy for him to opt out. But it all comes down to how creators build the story. &#8220;As long as the story is good, and the character has a place to go, and it fits in with everything else,&#8221; he explained. Thus, Cavill would like to return as long as he gets the chance to build the character the way he wants.
