Over the past few years, Affleck has served as the frontrunner in a number of films. And very recently, The Way Back actor marked his fifth directorial outing with the sports drama film AIR. Interestingly, one of the scene in the movie dissed an NBA team for passing on Michael Jordan. While the scene was removed, but not for reasons you think.

Air is the first time Affleck engulfed dove headfirst into the world of sports. The sports drama movie takes the audience through the life of a Nike Salesman, Sonny Vaccaro. AIR explores the world of NBA in great detail, touching some important moments from the league’s history. Many of us might be wondering that Affleck did not want any problems with the Blazers, so he waved off the scene. However, interestingly, the scene did not make it to our screens since there was a mistake on Affleck’s part. As reported by Insider, Affleck admitted during a film screening, I made the mistake of directing him to play it in a way that presupposed that both of them knew who Michael was gonna be.

Elsewhere, Affleck admitted how he cut out the one scene he blew out and added how he gave the actor the wrong direction. Apparently, if the scene would have made it to our screens, we would have witnessed an interesting crossover. Vaccaro would confront the Blazers’ manager on why he did not sign Jordan. Not long ago, Ben Affleck even opened up about his experience alongside Jason Bateman in the movie.
