of transforming herself into the character.

Reality is based on the life of a woman named Reality Winner, who was arrested
under the charges of leaking confidential information. She is widely recognized
as the NSA whistleblower who compromised information during the 2016 elections.
The key rule Sweeney kept in mind while preparing for her role was, “I looked at
Reality as a human being, and that’s how I kept my entire thought process
throughout it.”
