Amy Adams candidly reflects on the enchantment of kissing Henry Cavill and her desire for him to be more mischievous in a revelation.

“I kind of wish he’d misbehaved!” – Amy Adams Once Got Candid on Experiencing the Magic of a Kiss With Henry Cavill

When it comes to looks, acting, and charm, Henry Cavill
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] is the name that crosses many
minds. The Witcher’s [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/]Geralt had
flexed his muscles while wielding sorcery and jaws dropped at this sight. In a
similar vein, Amy Adams is one of her generation’s most gifted actors. She had
the opportunity to once kiss Cavill, alongside planting kisses on Will Ferrell
and Leonardo DiCaprio.

But her kiss with Cavill was magical, as she once put it. Bordering on
objectifying the British actor due to his striking good looks, Adams fondly
reminisced their kiss on the Man of Steel set.

WHEN A KISS BECOMES MAGIC: AMY ADAMS REMINISCES ABOUT HENRY CAVILL

Despite Cavill’s good looks and physique, he initially refused to do shirtless
or romantic scenes in The Witcher. But when he was still DCEU’s Superman, he
found himself kissing Amy Adams in the Man of Steel. She recounted the
experience as truly enchanting in a 2013 interview. Observing Adams sharing
kisses with Cavill left admirers green with envy, which the actress could
understand. She affirmed that the on-screen kisses with the British heartthrob
were everything they hoped for. Recalling the experience, she called it as one
that is bound to make one’s spirits soar.

> Zack Snyder: And Henry take your time seeing the thing. KISS. Only Zack can

Although the two actors had great on-screen chemistry, Adams wished Cavill had
unleashed his cheeky side a bit more behind the scenes while praising his sense
of humor. “I kind of wish he’d misbehaved!” Adams shared with OK! Magazine (via

in 2013. But the actress’s admiration for Cavill went beyond the good looks, as
she emphasized that he possessed a genuinely kind and humble personality.

Examining Adams’ perspective, it is clear that Cavill had an entirely different
experience when it came to the kiss.

DIFFERING KISS EXPERIENCES: AMY ADAMS AND CAVILL’S PERSPECTIVE

Zack Snyder, the filmmaker behind Man of Steel, orchestrated a passionate kiss
between Cavill’s Superman and Adams’ Lois Lane. However, Adams revealed on The
Graham Norton Show that she had adopted a unique kissing technique from director
David O. Russell. She likened it to something out of an ’80s music video, but
Cavill was not thrilled. His response? A simple, “too much.”

Adams felt a tad self-conscious discussing this, claiming that she comes across
as a creep for poor Cavill. This was compounded by her desire to praise Cavill’s
acting skills after objectifying him.

However, doing so immediately after a “too much” kiss made her feel somewhat
uncomfortable. Despite this unusual incident, Cavill and Adams shared plenty of
common ground, having worked together on multiple DCEU films.
