Catherine Zeta-Jones has yet to read her husband Michael Douglas’ memoir. The Basic Instinct actor has made headlines over the past few days following the release of his memoir, titled One Helluva Ride, this October. In the book, the actor and producer makes several surprising revelations, sharing heartfelt memories of his connection with Rob Reiner, along with other insights into the entertainment industry.

While the memoir has sparked much discussion, Douglas’ wife has yet to find the time to read it. Interestingly, she seems to have a rather hilarious reason for not getting around to it.

During an interview with TODAY, Catherine Zeta-Jones admitted that she has yet to read her husband Michael Douglas’ memoir, titled One Helluva Ride. She explained that she has been occupied with work and is too busy to sit down and read the book. However, there is one particular time of day when she is simply not interested in picking the book up.

“As much as I love my husband, when I'm tired at night, I have no intention of reading about him at all,” she said.

However, during the interview, she encouraged others to read the book, even hinting at its title to pique readers’ interest. As the actress shared, Douglas has shared several lesser-known details about his life and career in the memoir. One such revelation involves his wife, as the actor shared that he had to end his relationships with five other women before he could finally date Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Douglas further revealed in his memoir that his relationship with Zeta-Jones is unlike any other he has experienced. The actress has also often spoken about her husband and children in interviews. Recently, she shared her thoughts on the term nepo baby.

Michael Douglas, during his appearance on the SmartLess podcast, voiced his frustration with the term “nepo baby.” The actor questioned the intention behind the label. He further explained that many parents often help their children get a foothold in the industry.

“Well, first of all, you know, Hollywood royalty. I mean… this ‘nepo’ thing really p***** me off,” Douglas said.
