Imagine writing a song about your Hollywood idol, watching it storm the charts, and discovering that the woman herself has become your biggest cheerleader. That is the ridiculously glamorous predicament facing Slovak pop sensation Adéla Jergová.

Her single 'Nicole Kidman' has climbed into the Billboard Hot 100's top 10, accompanied by a music video packed with references to the Oscar winner's cinematic legacy. Naturally, getting approval from the actual Nicole Kidman feels like unlocking a secret achievement in the celebrity multiverse. And her reaction was pure disbelief.

During her October 22 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adéla Jergová revisited Nicole Kidman's September interview with Jimmy Fallon, when the actress praised her tribute song and accompanying music video.

“I can't believe that,” Adéla exclaimed, visibly astonished by the recognition.

Kidman had expressed equal surprise at discovering a rising pop star had written an entire song about her. She also praised the music video, which recreates moments from Moulin Rouge!, Eyes Wide Shut, Birth, and Babygirl. The actress admitted that some references reminded her of movies she had practically forgotten.

Imagine possessing a filmography so extensive that someone needs to make a pop video to jog your memory. Hollywood's most glamorous homework assignment. The admiration has extended beyond television. Kidman embraced the track at a Chanel fashion event in Paris and enjoyed hearing it during October's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Every Upcoming Nicole Kidman Movie and TV Show, From ‘Practical Magic 2’ to Her Next Big Thriller

And speaking of Nicole Kidman's cinematic magic, the actress recently returned to one of her most beloved supernatural franchises.

Nearly three decades after Practical Magic introduced audiences to the Owens sisters, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock returned to their supernatural family business. Directed by Susanne Bier, Practical Magic 2 followed Gillian and Sally Owens as an ancient curse threatens their family once again.

The sequel opened atop the North American box office with $30 million in September. According to Box Office Mojo, its worldwide earnings have since surpassed $105 million. Respectable witchcraft, although its opening fell below industry expectations.

Critics proved difficult to enchant. Rotten Tomatoes currently lists a 36% critics' score against a considerably enthusiastic 90% audience rating. Apparently, nostalgia is a powerful spell, even when reviewers refuse to drink the potion. For viewers planning a supernatural movie night, the sequel became available for digital rental and purchase on October 13 through Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.
