At the amfAR Gala in Venice, Pamela Anderson opened a deeply personal chapter of her life with startling honesty. The Baywatch star recalled being told that hepatitis C was essentially a life-long sentence, with perhaps only 10 years to live. The diagnosis reshaped her world, especially her fears for her young children.
“I am strong and capable, more now than I could ever dream of … I’m not the damsel in distress, no matter how easy that role is to play,” Anderson said. Pamela Anderson’s words arrived after years of shame, guilt, and confronting the emotional scars surrounding her diagnosis. They also marked a striking declaration of how far she had come.

Fortunately, a cure for the viral infection emerged in 2011, and by 2015, Pamela Anderson was hepatitis C-free. Treatment came at an enormous financial cost, but recovery eventually gave her a different kind of ammunition: her art. Through acclaimed work in The Last Showgirl, Rosebush Pruning, and Place to Be, Pamela Anderson has turned survival into a powerful creative resurgence.
While Pamela Anderson has been pulled into Meghan Markle’s plagiarism buzz, her attention remains firmly on what matters most: her children.
Pamela Anderson's children

Brandon Thomas Lee has also helped shape his mother’s recent creative chapter, producing Pamela, a Love Story and executive producing The Last Showgirl. Dylan Jagger Lee, meanwhile, has worked with fashion names including Saint Laurent and Armani Exchange while pursuing music. Pamela Anderson has called her sons “true miracles” and her “favorite dates,” making their bond feel less like Hollywood and more like home.
