Only Murders in the Building has earned the Outstanding Scripted Series Award this time at the CrimeCon Clue Awards. Over its five-season run, the hit mystery-comedy has earned numerous nominations and accolades. Last year, the series won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. As Selena Gomez accepted the award on stage, she dedicated it to her co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.

Now, as the series gears up for the next thrilling chapter in Season 6, it has added yet another prestigious honor.

Only Murders in the Building won the award for Outstanding Scripted Series at the CrimeCon Clue Awards. Meanwhile, Girl on the Run: The Hunt for America's Most Wanted took home the prize for Outstanding Docuseries, both branded as Hulu's top-tier shows. This honor is another major achievement for the acclaimed murder mystery series, whose fifth season premiered in September 2025.

The murder mystery comedy-drama starring Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin follows three neighbors who teamed up to investigate a series of bizarre killings in their New York City neighborhood. The hit series has already been renewed for a sixth season. Hulu has previously confirmed a 10-episode installment shortly after the Season 5 finale.

Interestingly, Season 6 will take the story far away from New York for the first time. Rumors had long suggested that production would head to London. And those rumors were later confirmed when Selena Gomez shared a post revealing that filming was underway in the British capital.

Ahead of the sixth season, however, the cast is taking a detour to London.

What happened in the season 5 ending of Only Murders in the Building

The season 5 finale of Only Murders in the Building wrapped up the mystery surrounding the death of the Arconia’s beloved doorman, Lester. Charles, Oliver, and Mabel uncovered a secret gambling operation hidden beneath the building that was linked to wealthy billionaires hoping to establish New York City’s first legal casino. And the trio finally exposed the killer and brought the case to a close.

However, the celebration was short-lived when rival true-crime podcaster Cinda Canning was found dead outside the Arconia. She was clutching a blood-stained boarding pass from London Heathrow to New York's JFK Airport. So, the cliffhanger clearly hints that her murder is tied to a mysterious case in London, which is set to take the trio out of New York for new adventures in season 6, after a satisfying bash at the CrimeCon Clue Awards.
