Zendaya has grown to become one of the most popular celebrities in Hollywood for her performances in films such as Euphoria, Dune, Challengers, and Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy. Besides her achievements in acting, the relationship between Zendaya and her co-star Tom Holland in the Spider-Man film series has attracted the attention of her fans. The news that the two are married has sparked conversations regarding their heights, where some people have asked whether Zendaya is taller than Holland.

Although their relationship has often made headlines, one detail that continues to surprise fans is the noticeable height difference between the two Spider-Man stars.

Zendaya is 5 feet 10 inches, which is around 178 cm, while Tom Holland is around 5 feet 8 inches, which is around 173 cm, so the Spider-Man actress is 2 inches taller than her husband. Their height difference has been noticed at times while filming, but the stars have brushed off the attention it receives. The pair have celebrated their height difference, rather than it being a problem, and Zendaya has previously dismissed the notion that a man should be taller than his partner as a ridiculous assumption.

Zendaya and Tom Holland also shared a funny story about their height difference and how it made it difficult to shoot Spider-Man: No Way Home when they appeared on The Graham Norton Show's season 29, episode 10, which aired on 3 December 2021. Zendaya recalled a scene where Spider-Man was meant to swing in, put MJ down on the bridge, and walk away. But as she is taller than Holland, she is hitting the ground first in the landing.

Holland then said that as part of the stunts, they had to use a bottom mark, which was meant to prevent the performers from hurting their knees upon hitting the ground. However, the discrepancy in heights made it impossible for Holland to land as softly as he would have liked to. Rather, he would find that Zendaya was already standing while his legs were flying forward, making him loss the balance. It is a role reversal that made both Zendaya and the rest of the cast laugh.
