The age of Nolan Grayson, who goes by the name Omni-Man, remains the most puzzling aspect of the Invincible series. His true age reveals something far more surprising than his appearance, which makes him appear as a man between 40 and 50 years old. Nolan is not human because he belongs to the Viltrumite race, which exists as an alien warrior species that possesses incredible strength and a way longer life-span than humans.

Omni-Man is not an average Viltrumite either, which makes one wonder what his real age might be.

A Viltrumite lives for extended periods while growing older at a slow rate, and so does Nolan. According to the official comic lore, Nolan's age has been estimated to be over 2000 years. Viltrumites generally experience regular aging until they reach their early adult years, when their aging process becomes extremely slow, at that point expanding them to live through at least a thousand years.

Throughout his life, Nolan has maintained his physical appearance of a middle-aged man by gaining serious combat skills from constant fighting and growing stronger, aided by slow aging. This made him invincible and stronger than regular young Viltrumites and Earth superheroes combined.

What makes the truth about Nolan's age more terrifying is the fact that he has survived for over two millennia, winning countless intergalactic battles, wars on Earth, and continuing to live a regular life for thousands more years. Nolan's age depicts the unmatched power of the Viltrumites in the series because they gain strength through their battle experience as well as their natural process of aging. 

Nolan becoming a middle-aged father also brought new physiological information to Mark Grayson, setting up an impossibly high bar for him. If a 2000-year-old Viltrumite could be the strongest, how much strength could a tens of thousands of years old Viltrumite possess?

Invincible Season 4 introduced its newest story arc, which further developed the Viltrumite plot. From flashbacks to detailing the storyline of young Nolan and the conflict between the Viltrum Empire and Nolan, the season served a new perspective towards Omni-Man by unloading a ton of unknown backstory elements. Prime Video launched the first three episodes of Season 4 of Invincible on March 18, 2026. After the premiere, the show switched to a weekly release schedule, which delivers new episodes every Wednesday until the season finale. The season consists of eight episodes in total and follows the major Viltrumite War storyline.

The complete episode roll-out includes Episodes 1–3 on March 18, Episode 4 on March 25, Episode 5 on April 1, Episode 6 on April 8, Episode 7 on April 15, and the finale Episode 8 on April 22, 2026. Every Wednesday at midnight Pacific Time, new episodes become available for streaming.
