During a conversation with ComicBook’s Chris Killian alongside co-star Phoebe Campbell, Bethany Antonia opened up about the comic book character she would most like to play in the future. When asked whether there was a hero or villain she would be interested in auditioning for, Antonia immediately pointed to one of Marvel’s most beloved mutants.

“Oh, Storm, but I think that’s already taken,” she said to ComicBook’s Chris Killian. After learning that the role may not have been cast yet, the actress jokingly added that Marvel should give her a call.

Storm, also known as Ororo Munroe, remains one of the most recognizable members of the X-Men. The character was previously portrayed by Halle Berry and later by Alexandra Shipp. With Marvel still developing its plans for the mutant team, Antonia’s interest when she shared with ComicBook’s Chris Killian, has already sparked discussion among fans about who could inherit the iconic role.
