House of the Dragon has kept expanding on the Targaryen history as the series approaches its final stretch. Each episode reveals new secrets that reshape the story while raising even bigger questions. The latest episode does exactly that with a surprising revelation. 

Alys Rivers, played by Gayle Rankin in the show, has revealed that more dragon eggs are kept hidden from the world. And these are tied to the dragon Dreamfyre. While the dragon is often mentioned in the show, it has yet to appear physically in the show. 

So, who is Dreamfyre and how did the eggs land in Harrenhal?

Dreamfyre is often mentioned as Helaena Targaryen's dragon in House of the Dragon and is very much alive. Although the dragon has not appeared in the series, Dreamfyre is said to be kept in the Dragonpit at King's Landing. Before Helaena became its rider, Dreamfyre belonged to Queen Rhaena Targaryen, who is the sister of King Jaehaerys I and the great-aunt of Viserys and Daemon Targaryen.

In Season 3, Episode 6, Alys Rivers reveals five dragon eggs to Aemond after running out of ways to convince him to stay. The moment he sees them, Aemond quietly whispers, "Dreamfyre" likely confirming it. Alys explains that Dreamfyre laid the five eggs at Harrenhal when the original Rhaena Targaryen lived there following the death of her daughter.

The revelation of these hidden eggs has a potential to change the course of the story? If the eggs eventually hatch, they could shift the balance of dragon power and potentially alter the direction of the war. On the other hand, the eggs may simply be part of Alys' plan to manipulate Aemond into staying at Harrenhal.

House of the Dragon Season 3, Episode 6 brought yet another brutal chapter with Ser Criston Cole meeting his long-awaited end. The former Lord Commander was ambushed by Lord Roderick Dustin and Lord Archie Tully's forces. Later, he was killed with two arrows into his stomach and one in his cheek.

Meanwhile, the episode leaves Lord Corlys Velaryon's fate hanging after masked attackers ambush him. He is seen getting strangled in the final moments with no clear answer. Now, this is not the first time the character has faced a near-death situation. Whether Corlys will survive yet another attack and what the five dragons' eggs represent can only be found out in the next episode.
