The clash of the two larger than life events had everyone, from fans to the royal experts, hooked onto every new move of the royals. And as the coronation bells mark one year and the little Prince marks his 5th, not much has changed.

Without the shadow of being a royal looming heavy on his shoulder, audiences were intrigued to see what the Duke would do for Prince Archie's birthday to make up for last year.

It has been five years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle brought their beautiful baby boy into the world. Contrary to royal norms, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex once again opted for a small celebration to mark the occasion, as reported by People. While there was no choice given the circumstances last year, this year the Sussexes seem to be making more of a statement with their choice.

Last year, it was reported by People that Markle had only close friends and her mother over for a very private celebration. Whether the guest list of supposed close friends is the same, this year remains unclear given the multiple fallouts the Sussexes have been through, but that the royal parents left no stone unturned to ensure privacy for Prince Archie is pretty clear.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have proven with their jampacked engagements that being a non-working royal does not actually mean 'non working'. The couple seem to have as busy a schedule as the working royals themselves. Just this week, the Prince is heading back to the United Kingdom for the 10th anniversary of his magnum opus, the Invictus Games.

The celebrations are not the only occasion that await the presence of Prince Harry. Later this week he is set to reunite with his wife for a tour to Nigeria. Given the media dominance that they established last year through the Invictus Games, the Sussexes do not seem to be backing down this year as well.
