positive news. In an interview with Screen Rant, Chad Stahelski talked

Apart from the ancillary stuff, the director also plans to dip his fingers into
the mythology of the original. Ultimately, he is not planning to curb the plot
of its reboot. This is further proved by the confirmation of Henry Cavill as a

fantastic games, the recent decade has seen the birth of an era of tremendously
cinematic video games. To add to the intrigue, John Wick director Chad Stahelski
is tapped to direct and produce the film.

In the interview with Screen Rant, the filmmaker provided a very encouraging
update about the film. He revealed that the script was finally complete after a
two-year delay. Further, expanding on his update, he said that the creative team
is “very close to getting our s**t together.” The director also conceded that
they are now waiting for the strikes to stop entirely before proceeding with any
of the developments.
