After Argylle’s unfortunate box office turnover, fans kept their eyes on the next project of Henry Cavill with Guy Ritchie’s, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. And successfully so since the movie debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with 80% approval, now resting at 75%. For those curious, this has been one of his highest reviews for his films in a while, surpassing the likes of big hits like Justice League, Man of Steel, and Tudors.

During the New York City premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on Monday, Henry Cavill expressed to Entertainment Tonight that his current phase in life has brought him a profound sense of joy and purpose. Specifically, with his 41st birthday approaching in May, he has found "a real sense of approaching everything with more… more direction now." Hence, reflecting on the wisdom that comes with age, Cavill spoke about how he now navigates his career with more certainty.

This positive aura has especially come from drawing lessons from past setbacks without dwelling on them. Although the overwhelmingly positive reception of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare attests to that, his anticipation of becoming a father for the first time adds another reason to appreciate the beauty of aging. While achieving success on platforms like Rotten Tomatoes is noteworthy, Cavill seems to value the experiences that led his roads to success yet again.
