While Bruce Willis was out on account of his health, Terry Crews, Jet Li, and Antonio Banderas also gave it a miss. In turn, Curtis &#8217;50 Cent&#8217; Jackson, Megan Fox, and Tony Jaa, among others filled in.

Arnold Schwarzenegger not returning to the franchise had a very concerning reason. The star had flagged serious concerns in script-writing in the third movie. Unsatisfied with his character arc, the star gave the fourth one a miss. Admittedly so, the results of poor writing stayed as the film managed to amass the lowest-ever haul of the franchise.
