Hadestown: The Musical follows the love story from Greek mythology. Narrated by the messenger of the gods, Hermes, the story is about Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. The musical follows a gifted songwriter, Orpheus, who falls deeply in love with Eurydice. 

At the same time, it tells the troubled marriage of Hades and Persephone. While Hades is the ruler of the underworld, Persephone becomes unhappy about her time below ground. After Eurydice's tragic fate, Orpheus travels below to the unknown to bring her back. While The Odyssey tells the story of adventure, Hadestown promises to move hearts with its tale of love and yearning.
