Streaming the Golden Eve: When and where to watch
This year's first-ever primetime special, Golden Eve, began broadcasting on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 8 PM ET/PT on CBS. It is a significant primetime event that opens the week of the awards, leading to the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards scheduled on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Besides airing on CBS, the Golden Eve can be streamed on Paramount+ via the live CBS affiliate feed for Paramount+ Premium subscribers starting at the same time. Not to worry if live TV cannot be accessed, as subscribers of Paramount+ Essential will receive on-demand access after the live airing, which also includes digital replays later in the season.
It is a common practice for Paramount+ to offer a free trial, which new subscribers can take advantage of to watch Golden Eve for free. Meanwhile, to stream the event, just switch to either of these TV streaming services that carry the CBS network: DirecTV, Fubo, Paramount+ Premium, or Hulu + Live TV.
People in different countries should verify local listings and streaming agreements, as the availability of local network affiliates and streaming services could differ by region. Golden Eve is now streaming in more than 185 countries, honoring the likes of Hollywood legends Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker, among others.
Having been such a rich part of the Hollywood culture, glamor is just the tip of the grand iceberg that the Golden Eve is.
