This was the second time in one year she had lost another close person to her heart. Before the American star, her father passed away and his anniversary was just around the corner when this news hit her. Now trying to recover and regroup herself, the actress has found a new purpose that could have made her buddy happy.

In a new post, the Murder Mystery star has urged fans to support the Matthew Perry Foundation with her.

Jennifer Aniston recently turned to her Instagram to share a post on the story. It showed the actor-turned-producer asking people to join her and donate to the Matthew Perry Foundation. “For #GivingTuesday please join me and Matty’s family in supporting his foundation – which is working to help those sufferying with addiction,” she wrote. The post also included the inspiring message that Perry left for this world to fight addiction.

“Addiction is far too powerful for anyone to defeat alone. But together, one day at a time, we can beat it down,” he once said. Having experienced it himself, Perry knew how difficult it can be to overcome this problem. It was from this understanding that he spoke openly about his struggles, even establishing the Perry House at his Malibu abode. Having people like Aniston who checked up on him further helped him to recover from his struggles really well.
