The CAA-Finch & Partners Venice Forum is all set to be addressed by George Clooney, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and more in its inaugural edition. The 83rd Venice International Film Festival is expanding its cultural footprint beyond the red carpet and screening rooms. CAA and Finch & Partners have officially announced the stellar, star-studded lineup for the inaugural Venice Creativity Forum, bringing together some of the most influential names in global cinema to discuss the evolving landscape of storytelling, art, and the entertainment industry.
Headlining the prestigious event are Hollywood heavyweights George Clooney and Maggie Gyllenhaal, alongside some of the very influential names in the field of art and cinema.

Next month, in conjunction with the Venice Film Festival, George Clooney, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Alexandre Desplat, Venice chief Alberto Barbera, and other celebrities will participate in the first-ever discussion on creativity. The invitation-only forum, "The Future of... Creativity," is organized by Finch & Partners and CAA. The forum, which will be hosted by artistic director Alberto Barbera of the Venice Film Festival, will take place on September 4 at the historic Scuola Vecchia della Misericordia.
It will include panel discussions with Clooney, who is scheduled to receive the festival's Golden Lion for lifetime achievement.

Also joining will be Gyllenhaal, who is also the president of the Venice jury; Oscar-winning composer Desplat, who frequently collaborates with Wes Anderson; renowned Italian writer-director Giuseppe Tornatore; sculptor and painter Kennedy Yanko; visual artist Marc Quinn; president of Signal Meredith Whittaker; and Emmy-winning film and TV director Shannon Murphy (via Variety).
Such renowned personalities will come together to talk about some of the urgent issues of the current times that will have an everlasting impact on creativity.
The agenda of the forum
According to a press release, the goal of the CAA-Finch & Partners Venice Forum is to bring together prominent figures from the fields of literature, film, visual arts, and technology. This will be to discuss one of the most important issues of our day: what will happen to creativity in the era of radical change.

The press release also mentioned a thorough discussion of how AI and technology are affecting changes in creativity across disciplines and what their long-term consequences would be. This will be a key point in the discussion, considering Hollywood’s battle against the excessive use of AI in films. The forum is supposed to take place on September 4.
